Broken hearts everywhere we look
Not a smile in a mile we walk
Teary eyes every pair of glasses we see
You think something went wrong
A person dying
A pet crying
Baby not serving
You get to the front
To where it all began
But you realize it’s just the black and white picture
Of society
Where you and I live
The soul we walk on the air we breathe
But I can’t stand to breathe and walk in your path to where you
Follow the steps of the south in the civil war
To where blacks were the enemy but now it’s gays
That you flame with just one word “queer” comes to the sound you speak,
You live in a black and white world.
Come and join the color world to where you see
Blue, green, red, orange, and yellow.
